A special note from Ashlee: The fear of any mother who has ever lost a child is that the life of their precious baby will be forgotten. Forgotten by their friends, by their family, by the world. And even more so, every mother who has ever lost a child fears that she too will forget all those teeny, tiny, seemingly insignificant, but amazing details that she never thought to write down or capture... because she thought she had a lifetime of memories to make, not weeks or days or minutes. I wanted to remember everything about my son. Every single detail. I wish I had begun writing the moment I knew he was gone so that right now, in this moment, I could tell you all those things about him I thought I would never forget. He had my toes and his eyes could pierce your soul. He just smelled so good -- that absolutely perfect baby smell. His first night home was an epic disaster that I will be forever grateful for because it meant I held him all night long... hours I still long for. Having a space to capture those memories and moments and all the teeny, tiny and seemingly insignificant details is a gift that will bring joy and hope to all mamas for lifetimes.

Orders typically ship in 3-4 business days. HOWEVER, during our big Spring and Fall Launch Days, Black Friday / Cyber Monday weekend, and other big sale times, orders can take 3-4 weeks to ship because we are handling a high volume of orders. Once a package leaves our shop, we are unable to control how it is handled by the carrier. Should your order arrive damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can do our best to resolve the issue. Please verify your shipping address is correct at checkout (through our shop AND through PayPal if you choose to checkout with their services) before submitting your order. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly submitted addresses. Customers are responsible for paying any reshipping charges associated with a package if an incorrect shipping address is entered at checkout.

We currently do not accept returns. If your order arrived damaged, please send us an email at Hello@EmilyLey.com within 7 days of receiving your order. We will happily send you a replacement item! Any orders that are returned to our warehouse without authorization will not receive a refund or credit. Please note that we are not able to refund, replace or offer shop credit for any Emily Ley or Simplified products purchased through Target, Staples, or Office Depot, as we do not carry stock of these licensed products. Customers are responsible for directing any and all questions to the applicable retailer.
