Happy New Year, friends! We’re starting fresh over here, and if you’re anything like us, the new year also means starting fresh with some new recipes to serve your family. We love easy, simple meals that take just a few minutes to prep because, let’s be honest, sometimes on a busy weeknight that’s all we can manage. Not only does having simple recipes for the year make dinner a little bit more exciting, but once we have a resource of all our favorite recipes all in one place, meal planning is so much easier.

One of our favorite ways to stay on top of meal planning is with our new recipe binder. Print out all of those recipes you have saved on your computer, punch holes in them, and stick them in your binder. Every Sunday (or whatever day works for you), flip through your recipe binder, choose a few to make in the coming week, and write down the meals you choose in your Simplified Planner. From there you can make your grocery list, and then you’re all set for the week! (Tip: We like to choose a couple meals each week that we can also serve for lunch (or dinner) the next day to save some time in the kitchen!) Keep your recipe binder close to your kitchen, so it’s easy to look at when you’re cooking and when you’re figuring out what groceries you’ll need that week. Here’s a few recipes that we’re excited to try in 2017:

  1. Rosemary Lemon Roasted Chicken
  2. Lime Chicken Soft Tacos
  3. White Chicken Chili
  4. Slow Cooker Pulled Pork
  5. Turkey Burritos
