Thought-Provoking Quotes

Let's be real: the hero of the summer is reading. Because as things get a little slower at work, as school relaxes its grip, your schedule gets a little more flexible as well.” - Emily Ley

“I love books. I love the way they give us a moment away from every day. Some of them help us learn things and take them back into our lives. Some of them just help us get a break from the everyday.” - Emily Ley

“Go grab a book and find a cozy corner and some quiet time to go read for a bit. You have earned it, for sure.” - Emily Ley

A Blessing for Your Week

May you find the time to feed your own mind, body and soul.

May you create your own pockets of peace each and every day.

And may you find a shared soul in the stories you find on the page and the ones living all around you.

Simplicity Tip of the Week

Is there a book on your wish list you've had for a while, but you've not made the time to pick up? Sister, the time is now. I want you to head to the library or your local bookstore and pick up one summer read. It doesn’t matter what book you grab - fiction, nonfiction, an audio book, whatever. Just pick whatever speaks to your heart and mind. And even if you can't dive into that book right away, there's so much joy in knowing that a great book is waiting for you whenever you have a quiet moment.
