With three littles, it seems like there is always something going on (doctor’s appointments! birthday parties! play dates!). Needless to say, Bryan and I don’t get out as much we’d like. But that doesn’t mean we don’t have date nights. Most weeks, we enjoy a date night at home! It’s become one of our very favorite traditions and a way for us to slow down and breathe in the midst of this crazy season of life we’re in.
Bryan and I visited Sonoma a few years ago, and after our trip, we decided to build a little wine bar at our house! We LOVE tasting new wines and wanted to create a special place in our home that we could enjoy together. It’s nothing fancy- a wine cooler to hold our favorites, a wine opener, and, of course, our favorite gold rimmed West Elm glasses. The best part? It makes it so easy for us to catch up with each other after a long day. After all the kiddos go to bed, B and I will sit out on the front porch and have a glass of wine, or we catch up on our favorite reality TV. He loves the Bachelor/ette. Don’t tell him I told you. :)
